Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gasan Ibragimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pettis comes to the cage accompanied by UFC - Face the Pain. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ibragimov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ibragimov showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pettis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ibragimov pulls his head out easily.
Pettis manages to get to full guard.
Pettis looking for a sweep. Not yet Pettis, not yet.
Pettis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ibragimov!
Poor strikes thrown by Pettis there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Pettis content just to control the position here.

Ibragimov defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Pettis.

Pettis is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ibragimov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Pettis is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ibragimov has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Pettis throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Ibragimov is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Ibragimov is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Pettis locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Ibragimov is forced to tap!
