Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sean Knott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shane Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson moves out of range of the body kick.
Knott misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Johnson enables Knott to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Johnson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Knott seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Knott closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Knott throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johnson was covering up waiting for the punch and Knott finishes the takedown easily into guard.

I would just about give that final round to Shane Johnson.
I think Knott has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
