Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pera Vihtahousu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garrett Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vihtahousu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Konevitsan Kirkonkellot. Garrett Greene has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vihtahousu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vihtahousu showed some decent athleticism there.
Greene is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Greene drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Greene jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That was a close round but I would say that Pera Vihtahousu will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Greene decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vihtahousu's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Vihtahousu tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Greene presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Greene is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Vihtahousu defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Garrett Greene showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
