Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vic Tori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Dowling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tori comes to the cage accompanied by Walk by Pantera. Dowling is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ozzy Osbourne: Bark At The Moon. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tori throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dowling walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tori throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Dowling's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Tori dives in looking to finish as Dowling flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Tori's strikes! Tori is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Dowling's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Dowling was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
