PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Out comes into the arena with Kickstart blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant throws a right and a left that both miss.
Out tries to score a power double leg takedown but Grant sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Out somewhat.
Grant keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Grant throws a leg kick which misses Out's front leg but catches the back leg as Out tries to avoid it.

Grant dives in and scores a takedown into Out's guard.
Grant must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Grant slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Grant makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Grant working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Grant working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Out's head.
Grant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Out. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Grant wants to control from the top but Out keeps moving.

Grant controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Out has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Grant doesn't defend quickly enough and Out has managed to lock this one up! Can Grant escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Out on a fantastic submission victory.
