Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richie O Grady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Grady comes to the cage accompanied by (no) Self Esteem. Rogers has chosen Step Into A World as his entrance music. Brett Rogers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rogers throws a sloppy head kick and O Grady moves out of range easily.
O Grady shoots in for a takedown but Rogers shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

O Grady pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rogers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

O Grady shoots in and bounces Rogers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Richie O Grady wasn't doing enough on the ground.
O Grady closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rogers circles away.

and Rogers counters with a left and a right that stings O Grady.
O Grady tries to clinch but Rogers moves out of range.

Rogers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rogers throws a poor cross that misses
and O Grady counters with a three punch combo that has Rogers backing up. Rogers nods at O Grady to acknowledge the strikes.

O Grady takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
O Grady tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rogers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten O Grady somewhat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rogers keeps the fight on the outside.
O Grady closes the distance and clinches up with Rogers, looking for a takedown. O Grady pushes Rogers against the cage but Rogers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
O Grady is looking to clinch.
O Grady shoots in for a takedown but Rogers shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rogers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
O Grady tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rogers swivels and escapes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Clinched against the cage, O Grady lands a big elbow that drops Rogers! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Rogers is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
