Perez comes into the arena with Legion 88 - Thulé blaring out of the sound system. Steven Hill has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hill lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perez circles away quickly and effectively.
Hill throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Perez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hill gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Perez to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Perez passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Hill pushes Perez away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Perez gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Hill can't do much from the bottom here.

Perez stands up.
Hill works over Perez's head and body with a nice combination.

Perez tries to free his leg and advance position but Hill is retaining full guard.
Hill wants to stand and escape but Perez is having none of it.
Perez lands a couple of elbows.
Hill wants to stand up but Perez is controlling him.

Perez drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Perez as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Hill screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Perez! Nice submission victory there!
