The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandicoot wants to clinch up but Magakian keeps it at a distance.

Bandicoot closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Magakian's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magakian wants to get back to his feet but Bandicoot is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bandicoot stands and throws Magakian's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Bandicoot is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Magakian is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Magakian is pushing Bandicoot's head away, looking to escape. Bandicoot manages to hold on to the position though.
You can see the frustration on Magakian's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bandicoot cracks Magakian with a big right hand but Magakian just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Bandicoot works to advance to full mount. Magakian defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Bandicoot is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Magakian to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Magakian shrugs it off.
