Jitsu comes into the arena with Nikkfurie- The a la Menthe blaring out of the sound system. Rasputin has chosen TURISAS - Rasputin as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasputin drops Jitsu with a beautiful combination! Jitsu stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rasputin is looking for the KO!
Jitsu is rocked!

Rasputin misses with a wild combination.

Jitsu dives in and grabs Rasputin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rasputin pushes down on Jitsu's head and hops out.

Rasputin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jitsu.
Rasputin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jitsu.

Jitsu can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rasputin is looking to escape.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jitsu with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Rasputin tries to hold on but Jitsu postures up.

Rasputin slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jitsu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rasputin defends it well.

Rasputin tries to roll over but Jitsu keeps him under control.

Jitsu is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Jitsu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rasputin is staying active underneath Jitsu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Rasputin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Jitsu drops back looking for a leg! Rasputin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rasputin manages to kick Jitsu off! Jitsu jumps back into Rasputin's guard.
Rasputin is trying to keep Jitsu in close.
Jitsu is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rasputin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rasputin has escaped and now he's on top!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rasputin stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Jitsu has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Rasputin manages to get his head free but now Jitsu has transitioned to an armbar! Rasputin grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Jitsu! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
