Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vinnie Vector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Slate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vector comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Coming Home. Slate has chosen Some song he made last night as his entrance music. Vinnie Vector could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jesus Slate's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slate punishes Vector's body with a nice straight punch.

Vector is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Slate pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Slate is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Slate struggles to land a body shot inside as Vector controls his hands.

Vector works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Slate wants to get back to striking at distance but Vector won't allow it.
Slate is trying to push Vector away but Vector has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Slate gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vector.
Slate on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vinnie Vector will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Vector swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Slate.

Slate feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Vector wants to stand up but Slate is controlling him.

Vector trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Slate accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vector wants to get back to his feet but Slate is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Slate postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slate stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vector swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Vector pushes Slate off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Slate feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vectors jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Slate looks to land a left hand but Vector moved out of range nicely.
Slate uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vector has time to react.
Vector takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Slate throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Slate looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Vector scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
