Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Freire's guard.
Freire trying to control the position.
Freire looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Freire is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Silva actively working from the bottom here.
Silva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Silva throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Freire is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Freire.
Silva tries to get to full guard but Freire has control of the leg.
Silva wants to get back to full guard but Freire has passed into side control.

Silva throws a few rabbit punches from the bottom. Freire was waiting for it though - now Silva's arm is in the perfect position for an arm triangle - he's tightening it up and Silva is forced to tap out before he takes a nap! Very clever counter grappling there from Freire!
