Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Devotion. Ivanovits comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Odorants - This Night kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanovits looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
Sergei Ivanovits seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ivanovits lands with a straight right. Gracie didn't see that one coming.
Ivanovits connects with a body shot.

Gracie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ivanovits tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gracie is in Ivanovits's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Ivanovits drops Gracie with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gracie looks back up at him and smiles so Ivanovits waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Gracie is rocked!
No joy there for Ivanovits, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A swing and a miss from Ivanovits.
Gracie switches off momentarily and Ivanovits cracks him with a monster right hand! Gracie topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Ivanovits dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Ivanovits!
