Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ju throws an overhand right that lands on Machida's shoulder, as Machida tries to avoid the shot.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ju.
Machida misses with a double jab.
Ju uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Machida.
Machida misses with a wild combination.
Machida throws a leg kick but Ju sees it coming and moves out of range.
Machida tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Machida clinches up against the cage.
Ju is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Machida misses with a knee to the head.
Machida with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Machida misses with a knee to the head.
Ju misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ju digs a right hand into Machida's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Machida's gas tank.

Ju escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Machida has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ju finds it's way round the side to connect with Machida's head.

It looks like Santana Machida has been cut.
Machida misses with a two punch combination.
Machida looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ju scores with a spinning back kick!
Ju uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Machida has time to react.
Ju drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Machida right on the button. Machida goes down! Ju follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Ju gets the win via TKO!
