Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Pin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Rampaasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pin comes to the cage accompanied by It's A Fight - Three 6 Mafia. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quinton Rampaasi!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampaasi fails with the takedown.
Pin is looking to land body kicks.
Rampaasi doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pin counters with a head kick. That will keep Rampaasi thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Rampaasi shoots in but no luck this time.
Randy Pin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinton Rampaasi.
Pin throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Rampaasi shoots in looking for a takedown but Pin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rampaasi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Pin tries to bum rush Rampaasi with a series of wild strikes but Rampaasi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

No joy there for Pin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rampaasi rushes Pin and presses him up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Rampaasi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Rampaasi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pin lands with a shot to the body.
Pin misses with a kick to the body.
Rampaasi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pin thows a body kick. Rampaasi tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Rampaasi shoots for a double leg takedown but Pin sprawls well. He's pushed Rampaasi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A jab from Pin finds it's way through Rampaasi's defenses.
A head kick lands from Pin that sends Rampaasi to the canvas. Rampaasi tries to scramble back to his feet but Pin brings him back down into side control.
Pin stands up and beckons Rampaasi to his feet.

Pin punishes Rampaasi's body with a nice straight punch.
Pin throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Sloppy strikes from Pin. Those never looked like landing.
Rampaasi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rampaasi takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Pin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

That has opened up Quinton Rampaasi's cut even more.
Pin throws a body punch but Rampaasi moves out of range.

Rampaasi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pin lands a nice looking body kick.
Pin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rampaasi in his tracks.
Pin is looking to wear down Rampaasi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Pin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rampaasi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pin lands a head kick. Rampaasi smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A lazy left from Pin finds it's target.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pin.
Pin bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Pin lands a nice hook to Rampaasi's body. Rampaasi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Randy Pin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd cheers as Pin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rampaasi doesn't seem phased though.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pin, as that shot connected.
Rampaasi is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pin is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rampaasi.

Rampaasi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Pin.
Good leg kick by Pin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OH! Rampaasi has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Pin smells blood and charges in for the finish! Pin unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Rampaasi sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
