Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hamed looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A right-left combo lands from Hamed.

It looks like Sergio Cruz has been cut.
Cruz circles away from the clinch attempt.

Oooooh!!! Hamed has knocked Cruz down with a huge combo! Hamed steps away and waves a wobbly Cruz back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Hamed moves into the clinch.
Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hamed cracks Cruz with a nice body shot.
Cruz tries to pull guard but Hamed won't allow it.
Cruz is breathing heavily.
Hamed throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Cruz seems to have got his legs back now.
Hamed lands a body shot in the clinch.

Hamed gets through Cruz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Naseem Hamed.

Hamed drops Cruz with a beautiful combination! Cruz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hamed is looking for the KO!
Naseem Hamed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cruz gets tackled into the cage by Hamed. Hamed maintains the clinch.
Hamed lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Hamed content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hamed lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Hamed drops Cruz onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Cruz is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
