The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blazek.

JC The Easter Bunny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blazek dives in and grabs The Easter Bunny's left leg, looking for a takedown. The Easter Bunny pushes down on Blazek's head and hops out.

Blazek has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Blazek stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Easter Bunny swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The Easter Bunny is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blazek stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Easter Bunny swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Blazek drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and The Easter Bunny dives on top into guard.

Blazek controls The Easter Bunny momentarily but The Easter Bunny frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from The Easter Bunny, right into the meat.

The Easter Bunny feints and then cracks Blazek's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Blazek down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The Easter Bunny lands a head kick. Blazek smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The Easter Bunny lands a big head kick that sends Blazek tumbling to the mat! The Easter Bunny takes a step backwards and waves Blazek back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The Easter Bunny misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Easter Bunny thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Blazek if he has to take too many more of those.
Blazek is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Blazek gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
