The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Virtanen sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Virtanen throws a good cross that connects.
Laine misses with a wild body shot.
Virtanen lands a nice hook to Laine's body. Laine takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A chopping leg kick lands by Laine.
Virtanen checks a low kick from Laine.
Laine fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Virtanen manages to avoid it.
Laine throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Laine lands a nice hook to Virtanen's body. Virtanen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Laine just misses with a punch to the body.
Laine changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Virtanen looks gassed!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laine cracks Virtanen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Laine throws a one two combo.
Laine closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Virtanen! Laine dives in looking to finish! Virtanen is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
