Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve McGarrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazahiro Murakami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGarrett comes to the cage accompanied by the theme from Hawaii 5-0. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGarrett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Murakami's waist but Murakami gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McGarrett off to one side.
Murakami throws a head kick that misses.
McGarrett changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murakami tries to avoid it but McGarrett manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murakami to the ground. Murakami escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McGarrett tries to score a power double leg takedown but Murakami sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McGarrett somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve McGarrett. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Murakami is looking for a sweep. McGarrett is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Murakami is controlling McGarrett's trapped leg to prevent McGarrett from advancing to side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Steve McGarrett will probably get the nod.

Murakami uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McGarrett has time to react.
McGarrett shoots in looking for a takedown but Murakami manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McGarrett's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Murakami wobbles McGarrett with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Murakami dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts McGarrett to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
