Neely comes into the arena with Gimme all your loving!!! blaring out of the sound system. Ted Chips is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chips drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Chips thows a big elbow that misses.
Neely keeping moving, preventing Chips from controlling successfully.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Neely holds on and takes a little breather.
Neely tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Neely is trying to control the position but Chips postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Neely is fighting off a takedown attempt but Chips is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Neely to the mat. Neely regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Chips drops back, looking for a kneebar! Neely looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Neely looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Neely !

Chips tries to buck Neely off but Neely is having none of it.

Neely cracks Chips with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Neely wants to control the pace but Chips is squirming around nicely.
Chips tries to lock up and control but Neely gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
