Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jim Beam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garrett Sheeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beam comes into the arena with Hollywood Undead - Everywhere I Go blaring out of the sound system. Sheeks is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Heman "What makes A man". Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beam takes the fight into the clinch.

Sheeks gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Beam regains guard.
Sheeks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Sheeks trying to control but Beam is working from the bottom.
Beam is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sheeks is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Garrett Sheeks.

Beam gets a clinch.

Beam pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Beam bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sheeks misses with a hook. Beam ducked under it nicely.
Sheeks swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sheeks throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Beam moves into the clinch.
Sheeks prevents a takedown attempt there.

A left hand lands to the body for Sheeks.
Sheeks can't find room to land a body shot as Beam controls the action.
Sheeks lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Sheeks pushes Beam back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Beam jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sheeks walks away with a smile on his face. Beam gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sheeks misses with an uppercut.

Nice body punch from Sheeks.
Beam avoids the body shot from Sheeks.
Beam thumps Sheeks with a low kick.
Sheeks throws a right hand that Beam ducks under and follows up with a left that Beam also avoids with ease.
Sheeks just misses with a punch to the body.
Sheeks lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sheeks fails with a takedown attempt.
A combination from Sheeks does no damage.
Sheeks tries to close the distance and clinch but Beam swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sheeks gets tackled into the cage by Beam. Beam maintains the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Sheeks has hold of one of Beam's legs. Beam is fighting the takedown attempt but Sheeks gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Sheeks trying to control the position from guard on top but Beam is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sheeks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Beam wants to stand up but Sheeks is controlling him.
Beam keeping moving, preventing Sheeks from controlling successfully.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Sheeks content to stall in guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Garrett Sheeks was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Sheeks fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Beam throws a low kick but Sheeks moves out of range easily.

Sheeks tries to keep at a distance but Beam has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nice body punch from Sheeks - that landed with a thud.
Beam tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sheeks just stands there and leans against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Beam has Sheeks pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sheeks manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Beam wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sheeks has him pressed against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Beam takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Garrett Sheeks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sheeks misses with a hook.
Sheeks scores with a crisp jab that stopped Beam in his tracks.
Beam takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Beam forces Sheeks back against the cage and clinches.
Oh Beam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sheeks blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Beam fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Sheeks lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Beam to his knees! Sheeks keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
