Money comes into the arena with Gives You Hell blaring out of the sound system. Lancaster is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fort Minor - Remember The Name. Smasher Money has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster tries to clinch but Money is having none of it.
Money lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Money has closed the distance and engaged Lancaster in a clinch.
Lancaster gets underhooks to prevent Money 's takedown attempt.

Lancaster jumps guard and drags Money to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Lancaster wants to clinch but Money slips to the side

and Money counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Lancaster is trying to stand.
Money looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lancaster wants to control but Money is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Lancaster is looking for a sweep. Money is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Money slips a nice elbow through Lancaster's hands, connecting with Lancaster's forehead.

Money has Lancaster up against the cage in a clinch.
Money goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lancaster prevents it.

Lancaster has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Money is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Smasher Money has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Lancaster.

Money is looking to take a break and control but Lancaster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Money tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lancaster knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Money decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Lancaster throws a right and a left that both miss.

Money takes the fight into the clinch.
Money wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lancaster has him pressed against the cage.
Lancaster is trying to break free.
Lancaster misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Money .
Lancaster wants to stall.
Money wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Money is pressed up against the cage. Lancaster has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Money down to the mat. Money avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Money fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lancaster, pushing him back against the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Money .

Money is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lancaster can't fight it off and eventually Money manages to take the fight to the floor. Lancaster looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Money throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Money cracks Lancaster with a solid left hand.
Money is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Money with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Money stands and throws Lancaster's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lancaster misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Lancaster can't do much from the bottom here.
Money works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fight stays on the outside here - Money looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Money decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Lancaster seems to have recovered his senses.

Money shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Lancaster is on queer street and Money is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
