Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Banto Niko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Chinatown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Niko's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, lamb of god-laid to rest. Chinatown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cocaine in my brain - Dillinger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Banto Niko has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chinatown shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Niko is trying to defend but Chinatown finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Chinatown looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Niko wants to improve his position but Chinatown is controlling well.
Niko pushes Chinatown off looking to stand but Chinatown dives back in and keeps control.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chinatown in particular looking to stall.

Let's hope that Chinatown has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Niko is looking for a sweep. Chinatown is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Chinatown is nestled in close to Niko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Niko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chinatown is working away from the top position though.
