Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fafi Fafiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fafi Fafiri has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Fafiri there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fafiri thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fafiri tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fish throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fish moves in looking to clinch but Fafiri pushes him off.

Fish throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fafiri's waist but Fafiri gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fish off to one side.
Fish shoots in but no luck this time.
Fish shoots in and drives through. Fafiri sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Fish. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fish clinches.
Fish goes for a takedown attempt but Fafiri pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Fish counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fafiri's guard now.
Fafiri not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fafiri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fish. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fish slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Fafiri is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fafiri is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fafiri prevents Fish from improving his position.
Fish flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Fish trying to control but Fafiri postures up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fish moves into full guard.
Fafiri is fighting to break Fish's control of his arms but Fish is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Fish doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Fafiri stays in close to Fish's body and controls the position.
Fafiri wants to get up but he can't break Fish's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Fish is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Fafiri rolls with it to try and escape but Fish cranks on the arm and Fafiri is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
