Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zak Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kid cypher round 11 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Graham.
Graham shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Simmons sprawls well. Simmons wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Graham gets slowly back to his feet.

Simmons gets caught flat footed, as Graham shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Simmons can do anything to dispel that myth.
Graham wants to get up but he can't break Simmons's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Graham stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simmons swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Simmons closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Simmons lands in his opponent's guard.

Graham escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Simmons gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Simmons throws a sloppy strike and Graham has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Simmons is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Graham!
