Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Conor Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trapp Deathgrip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Doyle.
Deathgrip doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Deathgrip throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Doyle tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Deathgrip is in Doyle's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Deathgrip throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doyle.

Deathgrip wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Doyle, who protects the arm well.

Deathgrip is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Doyle knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Deathgrip has an Americana. Doyle didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Deathgrip is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Deathgrip hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
