Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Cartofell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike The Finisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Finisher is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: everybody is kungfu fighting . Mike The Finisher looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Cartofell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. The Finisher sprawls well initially but Cartofell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Cartofell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Finisher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The Finisher stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cartofell.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! The Finisher crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cartofell - the referee stops the clock and The Finisher gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cartofell. The Finisher manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cartofell has The Finisher pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Cartofell pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending The Finisher tumbling to the mat - Cartofell dives into The Finisher's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cartofell connects with a nice short shot to The Finisher's temple.

Cartofell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Horrible takedown by Cartofell or perhaps it was just good defense by The Finisher which made him look bad.

The Finisher jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cartofell walks away with a smile on his face. The Finisher gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Cartofell seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down The Finisher for as long as he can get away with.
Cartofell's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
