Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Clarke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Archie Parchi!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Parchi.
Parchi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Clarke pinned against the ropes. Clarke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Andrew Clarke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Archie Parchi.
Clarke misses with a looping right.
Parchi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Clarke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Parchi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clarke.
Clarke throws a nice looking combination but Parchi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Clarke drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Parchi stops Clarke from passing to mount.
An elbow from Clarke crashes against the mat.
Parchi struggling a bit here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Parchi can do anything to dispel that myth.
Clarke trying to control the action but Parchi is working from the bottom.
Parchi regains half guard there - taking advantage of Clarke's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Parchi kicks Clarke off and gets back to his feet.
Clarke moves into range and connects with a jab.
Parchi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Parchi looks gassed!
Clarke misses with an uppercut

and Parchi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Clarke won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Clarke sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Clarke tries to get to full guard but Parchi has control of the leg.
Clarke moves into full guard.

Clarke looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Parchi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Clarke is on top in guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Clarke not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Clarke throws a big right hand that misses.

Clarke trying to control the position from guard on top but Parchi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Clarke postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Clarke scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Clarke advances to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Clarke lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Clarke not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Parchi won't allow Clarke to pass to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andrew Clarke dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Clarke decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Parchi trying to hold on to Clarke's head to control him but Clarke postures up.
Clarke looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Clarke has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Clarke landing strikes from the mount and Parchi is in trouble!
Parchi is breathing heavily.
Clarke drops a big elbow. That's hurt Parchi! More shots from Clarke and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Clarke!
