Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Ansalon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peregrin Broadfoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Broadfoot is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I Killed the Pirates. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broadfoot throws a hook but Ansalon blocks it.

and Ansalon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Ansalon shoots in looking for a takedown. Broadfoot tries to sprawl out of it but Ansalon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Broadfoot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ansalon shoots in looking for a takedown but Broadfoot manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ansalon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Broadfoot uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ansalon is looking to wear down Broadfoot with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Ansalon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Broadfoot's guard now.

Broadfoot has his foot on Ansalon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ansalon works his way back into a safe position though.

Ansalon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Broadfoot doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Broadfoot manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ansalon takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ansalon has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Broadfoot regains guard immediately.
Broadfoot manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ansalon is trying desperately to improve position.

Broadfoot has hold of Ansalon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ansalon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ansalon sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Ansalon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Broadfoot's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Broadfoot's back!

Broadfoot wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Peregrin Broadfoot hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

I would just about give that final round to Peregrin Broadfoot.
