Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Adam Golanski!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a right hand
and Golanski counters with a stiff right hand.
Golanski is looking to clinch.
Golanski slips a jab from Jones.
Golanski staying out of range there.
Golanski lands with an uppercut that bounces Jones off the cage and back into rage.
Golanski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Golanski displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
Jones throws a hook to the side of Golanski's head but Golanski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Golanski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.
Golanski changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Golanski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jones blocks a jab.
Golanski slips a jab from Jones.

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Golanski's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Golanski is on top in guard.
Golanski stays in close to Jones's body and controls the position.
Golanski in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Golanski forces his way into half guard.
Jones regains full guard. Nicely done.
Golanski controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Golanski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jones wants to stand up but Golanski is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Golanski throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Golanski's shoulder, as Golanski tries to avoid the shot.
Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Golanski moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Golanski wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Oscar Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Golanski misses the target.
Golanski slips a jab from Jones.

Golanski closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage.
Golanski stalls.
Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Golanski pulls his leg out and moves away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Golanski fails with an attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adam Golanski dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Golanski.
Jones slips under a jab from Golanski.
Jones walks into a stiff left hand from Golanski.
Golanski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Jones shoots for a takedown but Golanski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Golanski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Golanski wants it to stay on the feet.
Jones misses with a looping left.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Golanski is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Golanski circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oscar Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jones takes one to the chin there.
Golanski wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Golanski staying out of range there.
Golanski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Golanski clinches up against the cage.
Golanski lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Jones has Golanski pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Golanski manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jones blocks an uppercut.
Golanski lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Golanski scores with a nice hook to the head.
Golanski is struggling to control the position.
Golanski misses with some punches.

Golanski makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Golanski lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jones or not.
Jones blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Golanski lands with a left to the head.


Jones is rocked!
Golanski fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Golanski lands a nice shot to the body.
Golanski's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Jones seems to have got his legs back now.
Golanski lands a hook to the side of the head.

Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Golanski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Golanski.
Golanski using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jones has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Golanski lands an elbow just above Jones 's eye.


It looks like Oscar Jones has been cut.
Golanski swings wildly with an uppercut but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Golanski lands with a short shot to the head.
Golanski lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Golanski working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Golanski pushes Jones against the cage. Golanski is working some dirty boxing. Golanski pushes off with a quick right hook! Jones goes down! Jones tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Golanski moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Golanski!
