Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ma ba ho Puki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Jax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ma ba ho Puki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puki misses with the combination.
Puki fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jax is out of range.
Jax avoids a punch combination nicely.
Puki misses with a body kick.
Puki fails to land with a series of punches.

Jax gets the takedown into side control.
Jax in side control, throwing shots but Puki defends.

Jax looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Puki tries to buck Jax off but Jax is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Puki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Puki tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Jax is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Puki has escaped the position, nice work there.
Puki struggling a bit here.

Jax is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Puki is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jax decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Puki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jax.
Ma ba ho Puki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jax looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jax looks gassed!
Puki thuds his right hand into Jax's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Puki throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jax blocks a head kick by Puki.
Puki misses with a hook. Jax ducked under it nicely.
Jax avoids a punch combination nicely.
Puki throws a jab but it's blocked by Jax.
Jax closes this distance looking for a takedown but Puki circles away.
Jax shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Puki as he avoids it easily.
Ma ba ho Puki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Jax.
Puki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jax sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Puki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jax throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Puki's waist but Puki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jax off to one side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Puki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jax dodges the punch combination from Puki.
Puki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jax cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A nice leg kick lands there from Puki.
Puki throws a leg kick
and Jax connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jax closes this distance looking for a takedown but Puki circles away.
Puki closes the distance but Jax moves to the side

and Jax counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jax seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Puki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jax is looking for a kimura here.
Puki regains full guard. Nicely done.
Jax passes Puki's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Jax uses his free foot to push down on Puki's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Puki.

Jax looking to secure an arm triangle but Puki defends it well.

Puki has left one of his arms exposed and Jax doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Puki screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
