The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriemilyanenko fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Eriemilyanenko misses with a takedown attempt - Kiriyama sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kiriyama gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kiriyama pulls guard effortlessly.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kiriyama is on top in guard.

Eriemilyanenko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kiriyama defends well.
Kiriyama really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Eriemilyanenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Eriemilyanenko is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Eriemilyanenko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kiriyama is one step ahead there.
Kiriyama wants to stand but Eriemilyanenko is controlling his posture from full guard.

Kiriyama is looking to defend but Eriemilyanenko has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kiriyama! Eriemilyanenko pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kiriyama taps out and this one is all over!
