PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Bassey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Dorkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dorkin has chosen Duelling Banjos as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bassey.
Dorkin throws a head kick but Bassey moves out of range.
Dorkin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dorkin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dorkin moves out of range of the body kick from Bassey.
Dorkin throws a sloppy head kick and Bassey moves out of range easily.

Bassey stuffs the takedown.
Bassey tries to clinch there but Dorkin circles away.

Dorkin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bassey has time to react.
Dorkin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Alan Dorkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bassey moves into range and clinches up with Dorkin.

Dorkin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bassey scores with a big shot! Dorkin's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Dorkin! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
