The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cao stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cao wants it to stay on the feet.
Seaborne is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Seaborne takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Seaborne misses the body punch
and Cao counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Cao connects with the punch.
Cao uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Seaborne uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cao.

Cao throws a hook but Seaborne blocks it.

Seaborne clinches up against the ropes.
Seaborne misses with the head strike.
Seaborne swings wildly with an uppercut but Cao uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cao lands a body shot in the clinch.
Seaborne takes a shot to the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Seaborne.
Seaborne pushes Cao back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A head punch on the inside from Seaborne fails to land.
Seaborne tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Seaborne jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cao walks away with a smile on his face. Seaborne gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cao uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Seaborne has time to react.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Seaborne tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Cao counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A big left from Cao misses.
Seaborne on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Seaborne shoots in for a takedown but Cao shows good takedown defense.
Rhys Cao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Seaborne.
Cao cracks Seaborne with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Seaborne tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Cao pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Seaborne is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rhys Cao!
