The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tests Arkley's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Smith does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Smith throws a body punch but Arkley moves out of range.

Arkley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Smith momentarily.
Smith throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Arkley lands a leg kick that knocks Smith off balance momentarily.

Smith tries to circle away but Arkley has him pinned against the cage.

Arkley misses with a hook from the clinch.
Arkley tries to throw a body punch but Smith avoids it by throwing Arkley back against the cage.

Smith takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Arkley cracks Smith with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Smith crunches a lovely knee into Arkley's ribcage.

Arkley misses with a hook to the ribs.

Arkley has Smith pressed against the cage, preventing Smith from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A short body shot lands from Arkley as the two fighters clinch.
Smith fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Arkley throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Smiths head.
Smith tries to break free but Arkley pushes him back against the cage.

Smith ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Arkley tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smith throws a leg kick but Arkley checks it.

Arkley cracks Smith with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Smith looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Arkley finish him?
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arkley tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range.
Smith gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Arkley gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Smith is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
