Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Burner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joel Ladd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee Burner had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Joel Ladd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ladd tries to work over Burner's front leg with a kick but Burner checks it.
A low kick from Ladd is predictable there
and Burner counters with a stiff right hand.
Ladd jabs at Burner's body.
Burner avoids the head kick by Ladd.
Burner checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ladd's corner calls for a 1-2. Ladd obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Burner is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ladd moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Ladd cracks a nice hook into Burner's ribs.
Oooooh!!! Ladd has knocked Burner down with a huge combo! Ladd steps away and waves a wobbly Burner back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Burner is rocked!
It looks like Lee Burner has been cut.
Ladd Throws a clean left jab. Ladd Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Burner's chin! Burner crumbles to the ground and Ladd follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Ladd!
