Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dude McWrestler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredo Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McWrestler comes to the cage accompanied by Dude - Tenacious D. Corleone has chosen The Godfather Waltz as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McWrestler fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Corleone tries to clinch but McWrestler moves out of range.
Dude McWrestler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McWrestler drives through and clinches with Corleone against the cage.
McWrestler manages to break the clinch.
Corleone slips a straight right by McWrestler.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McWrestler!
Corleone closes the distance and pushes McWrestler back into the cage.
Corleone wants to stall.
McWrestler tries a body shot but Corleone blocks it.

Corleone goes for a takedown attempt but McWrestler pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
McWrestler rushes Corleone and presses him up against the cage.

Corleone is trying to drag McWrestler to the mat but McWrestler just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

McWrestler wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
McWrestler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Corleone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McWrestler as he jumps to the side.

McWrestler throws a lazy right hand but Corleone sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McWrestler moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Corleone tries to score a power double leg takedown but McWrestler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Corleone somewhat.
Corleone shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McWrestler sprawls well. McWrestler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Corleone gets slowly back to his feet.

Corleone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McWrestler cracks Corleone with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

McWrestler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Corleone.
McWrestler uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

McWrestler walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Corleone checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Corleone closes the distance and clinches up with McWrestler, looking for a takedown. Corleone pushes McWrestler against the cage but McWrestler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McWrestler scores with a crisp jab that stopped Corleone in his tracks.

McWrestler is looking to improve his position.

McWrestler slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Corleone postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
McWrestler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Corleone looking to sit in guard and control but McWrestler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Corleone wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and McWrestler is now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McWrestler is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Corleone doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McWrestler.
McWrestler wants to take a breather but Corleone is having none of it.

McWrestler sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Corleone defending well though.

McWrestler thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Corleone to regain full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
McWrestler throwing strikes from guard but Corleone blocks nicely.
McWrestler stands up over Corleone, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Corleone takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McWrestler is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
McWrestler scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

McWrestler lands a nice hook to Corleone's body. Corleone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Corleone is looking for a takedown up against the cage. McWrestler gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The referee calls for McWrestler to work.
Corleone decides to pull guard.
McWrestler is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Dude McWrestler is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Corleone shoots for a double leg takedown but McWrestler sprawls well. He's pushed Corleone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McWrestler, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
