Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klas Micropop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong has chosen We Were Soldiers by Sgt. Mackenzie as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Micropop looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Armstrong throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Armstrong stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Micropop.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Armstrong shoots in for a takedown but Micropop shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Micropop uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Armstrong.
Armstrong closes the distance and clinches up with Micropop, looking for a takedown. Armstrong pushes Micropop against the cage but Micropop circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Micropop slips under a jab from Armstrong.
Armstrong connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Klas Micropop has been cut.

Micropop throws a low kick but Armstrong moves out of range easily.

Klas Micropop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig Armstrong.

Micropop lands a nice leg kick that just misses Armstrong's sensitive parts.

Armstrong on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Micropop's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Micropop creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Micropop pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Armstrong goes for a takedown attempt but Micropop pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Micropop lands with a thumping leg kick.
Armstrong chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Micropop can pounce on him.

Armstrong's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Armstrong is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Micropop gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
