The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Passmoor which made him look bad.
Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Passmoor manages to avoid it.

Passmoor gets tackled into the cage by Johnson. Johnson maintains the clinch.

Johnson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Passmoor's hands.

Passmoor tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Passmoor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Johnson sprawls well initially but Passmoor persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Passmoor works his foot free and advances to mount.
Johnson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
