Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dillinger has chosen A Milli Killer Instrumental as his entrance music. The key to victory for Dutch Schultz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dutch Schultz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Dillinger!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dillinger shoots in and bounces Schultz off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dillinger controlling from the top position.
Schultz wants to stand but Dillinger is controlling the position.
Dillinger is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Justin Dillinger hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Dillinger drives through with a takedown into Schultz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Dillinger not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Schultz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Schultz wants it to stay on the feet.
Dutch Schultz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dillinger dives in and grabs Schultz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Schultz pushes down on Dillinger's head and hops out.

Dillinger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Schultz but Schultz pushes him off and we're back to square one.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Dillinger closes the distance and clinches up with Schultz, looking for a takedown. Dillinger pushes Schultz against the ropes but Schultz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dillinger takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


That has opened up Justin Dillinger's cut even more.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dillinger is defended easily by Schultz.
Schultz loads up on a big right hand but Dillinger slips the punch.

Dillinger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Schultz as he jumps to the side.
Dillinger uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Schultz.

Schultz throws out a loose jab but Dillinger uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dillinger looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Schultz is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Schultz is trying to get back to his feet.
Dillinger has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Schultz!
You get the feeling that Schultz really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Nice sprawl there from Schultz as Dillinger shoots in.

Dillinger rushes Schultz and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Dillinger has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Schultz is trying to keep an underhook but Dillinger manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Dillinger's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Dillinger working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Schultz turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Dillinger off and cradles Schultz's limp body as Dillinger celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Justin Dillinger!
