The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Younger avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lindland misses with a hook

and Younger holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Younger tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lindland smiles and moves away.
Lindland throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Younger slips a jab and a cross from Lindland.
Younger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lindland's waist but Lindland gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Younger off to one side.
Younger on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Lindland misses with a hook. Younger ducked under it nicely.
Younger is looking to clinch.
A big right from Lindland misses.
Younger pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lindland misses with a double jab
and Younger counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lindland swings for the body but Younger moves out of range.

Lindland throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lindland throws an overhand right that lands on Younger's shoulder, as Younger tries to avoid the shot.

and Younger counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Younger jumps guard but Lindland stands there with Younger around his waist. Younger gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joseph Younger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Younger is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lindland pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Younger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Younger slips under a jab from Lindland.
Lindland lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Younger at a distance.
Younger keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lindland.

Younger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lindland as he avoids it easily.
Younger moves out of range of the strikes.
Younger fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A left and a right from Lindland both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Joseph Younger has been cut.
Lindland's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lindland duly obliges.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lindland misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Younger is defended easily by Lindland.
Younger is breathing heavily.
Lindland lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lindland.

Younger is rocked!
Younger tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lindland paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lindland catches Younger with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Oh Younger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Younger jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Lindland lands with a cross.
Younger uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lindland.
Younger get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Younger stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Lindland runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
