Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Bourne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson has chosen "Weird Al" Yankovic - Fat as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Bourne!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roy Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourne fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Wilson is out of range.
Wilson shoots in for a double leg but Bourne sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bourne throws a hook but Wilson blocks it.
Bourne keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wilson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wilson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bourne was well out of range. Poor timing from Wilson.
Wilson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bourne.
Wilson thumps Bourne with a low kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A slapping leg kick lands for Wilson.
Bourne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilson manages to avoid it.
Bourne lands a jab to Wilson's midsection.
Wilson is looking to clinch.
Wilson wants to clinch up but Bourne keeps it at a distance.
Wilson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bourne's calf.
Wilson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Wilson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bourne tries to roll over but Wilson keeps him under control.
Bourne on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bourne tries to get out of the position.

Wilson wants to free his trapped foot but Bourne is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bourne is looking to improve his position.
Wilson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bourne does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Wilson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bourne because Wilson loaded up on that one.

Wilson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bourne is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bourne and Wilson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Bourne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground.

Wilson tries to score with some ground and pound. Bourne controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Wilson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bourne is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bourne is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Wilson is looking for a kimura but Bourne is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wilson to get the leverage.

Wilson wants to work for an arm triangle but Bourne is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bourne is not content to let Wilson control the position.

Bourne throws a looping overhand right but Wilson ducks down to avoid it.
Wilson throws a lazy right hand but Bourne sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Wilson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bourne defends it nicely.

Wilson drives through with a takedown into Bourne's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Bourne is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wilson is looking to control Bourne's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wilson avoid being mounted?

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wilson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bourne is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wilson.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Wilson wants to control the action here but instead Bourne manages to pass to full mount!

John Bourne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bourne.

Wilson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bourne moves away.

Wilson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Donk. Bourne catches Wilson right on the button with a cross.


Wilson is rocked!
Bourne bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wilson's head.
Wilson is still on wobbly legs! Can Bourne finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bourne darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Wilson's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Bourne before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 4, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Bourne!
