Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rauta Nilkka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wazz Hammerfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wazz Hammerfist is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Nilkka.
Hammerfist thows a body shot but no joy.
Hammerfist misses with a wild body shot.
Nilkka scores with a head kick. Hammerfist tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Hammerfist avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Nilkka throws a chopping leg kick but Hammerfist manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Some bone on bone action there as Hammerfist checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Nilkka takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nilkka lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hammerfist will feel that in the morning.
Nilkka pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nilkka thuds a left hand into Hammerfist's body.
Crunch! Nilkka slams his shin into Hammerfist's torso.
Nilkka tries to land a front kick but Hammerfist steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Some bone on bone action there as Hammerfist checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hammerfist. Nilkka does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nilkka throws a quick inside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A thudding body kick lands there by Nilkka!
Nilkka lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hammerfist will feel that in the morning.
Hammerfist looks gassed!
Hammerfist takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A head kick misses from Nilkka.

Nilkka cracks the inside of Hammerfist's front leg.
Nilkka scores with a leg kick.
Nilkka slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

A head kick lands from Nilkka that sends Hammerfist to the canvas. Hammerfist tries to scramble back to his feet but Nilkka brings him back down into side control.

Hammerfist is rocked!

Nilkka slows the pace down.
Hammerfist is still in real trouble! Can Nilkka finish him?
Nilkka tries to stand but Hammerfist is controlling his head.
The referee asks Nilkka politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nilkka prefers to stall for the moment though.

Nilkka decides to stand back up.
Hammerfist seems to have recovered his senses.
Nilkka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hammerfist.
Nilkka scoring well with a low kick there.
Nilkka lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nilkka thuds his shin into the meat of Hammerfist's side.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nilkka scores with a kick to the midsection.
Nilkka lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rauta Nilkka dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Nilkka buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nilkka moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Good leg kick by Nilkka there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Nilkka fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hammerfist has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hammerfist on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hammerfist's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Hammerfist is breathing heavily.
Nilkka goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nilkka lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hammerfist's sensitive parts.

Hammerfist takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Nilkka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Nilkka steps into range and cracks Hammerfist with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Hammerfist flops backwards and Nilkka dives into his guard looking to finish!
Nilkka wants to stand but Hammerfist has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Nilkka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hammerfist swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nilkka trying to control the position from guard on top but Hammerfist is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nilkka is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hammerfist can do to turn this around?

Nilkka is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rauta Nilkka.
Nilkka connects with a crisp jab.

Nilkka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nilkka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hammerfist.
Nilkka misses with a few strikes there.

Hammerfist tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rauta Nilkka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Nilkka! Hammerfist is out on his feet! Nilkka rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hammerfist is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hammerfist is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
