Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rutledge Vanderhorst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed with a nice cross.
A jab from Vanderhorst does it's job there.
It looks like Apollo Creed has been cut.
Vanderhorst avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Creed moves out of range as Vanderhorst throws a body kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Vanderhorst.
Creed takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That kick from Vanderhorst tenderised Creed's leg. Creed is trying to keep his angry face on.

Creed misses with a straight right.

Creed throws a hook but Vanderhorst avoids it easily.
Vanderhorst throws a push kick but Creed slaps the foot to one side.
Creed throws a shot from downtown. Vanderhorst moves away and avoids it.
Vanderhorst tries to land a front kick but Creed steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Creed misses with a left hand
and Vanderhorst counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Creed looks gassed!
Vanderhorst keeps Creed at a distance using the push kick.
Vanderhorst misses with a body kick.

A nice leg kick lands there from Vanderhorst.
Creed takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vanderhorst connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Apollo Creed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vanderhorst fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Creed to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Creed looks to clinch but Vanderhorst throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Creed taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
