Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pistol Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teemu Karjalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pistol Robinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robinson moves into the clinch successfully.
Karjalainen jumps guard but Robinson stands there with Karjalainen around his waist. Karjalainen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Robinson breaks from the clinch.
Karjalainen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Robinson pinned against the cage. Robinson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Robinson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Karjalainen looks gassed!
Karjalainen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Robinson as he avoids it easily.
Pistol Robinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teemu Karjalainen.

Robinson shoots in and bounces Karjalainen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Robinson stands up and waves to Karjalainen to follow him.

Robinson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Robinson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Robinson decides to take the fight back to the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Robinson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Karjalainen has his foot on Robinson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Robinson works his way back into a safe position though.
Robinson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Karjalainen is proving hard to escape from.
Karjalainen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Robinson is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karjalainen keeping moving, preventing Robinson from controlling successfully.

Robinson stands and steps away. Karjalainen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Karjalainen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Robinson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Robinson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Karjalainen is rocked!

Robinson shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Karjalainen is on queer street and Robinson is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
