Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halo's entrance music is Murder Was the Case. A fine choice. Gustav Graves is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves blocks a jab.

Graves uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Halo.
Graves throws a head kick but Halo moves out of range.
Graves connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Graves looks for a takedown but Halo sprawls well.

Halo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Graves has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Graves throws a hook to the side of Halo's head but Halo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Graves checks a leg kick.
Graves throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Halo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Graves.

Halo tries to land a front kick but Graves steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Halo counters with a stiff right hand.
Graves avoids the head kick by Halo.
The fighters circle momentarily. Graves darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Halo. Graves does a little dance to reset his feet.

Halo takes a swing at Graves's ribcage but misses.
Halo thows a body shot but no joy.
Halo takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Halo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Halo slips under a jab from Graves.

Graves has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Halo.

Halo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Graves.
Luciano Halo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gustav Graves.

Halo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Graves closes this distance looking for a takedown but Halo circles away.
Graves throws a hook to the side of Halo's head but Halo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Halo lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Graves can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Halo and Graves drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Halo.
