The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A shot to the liver by Cruz. Beautiful body shot.
Cruz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Castle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

It looks like Frank Castle has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cruz looks to score with a jab to the body but Castle is just out of range.
Castle wants to clinch.
Cruz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Castle.
Cruz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Castle.
Castle defending well as Cruz loads up on a big left hand.
Cruz is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Cruz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Castle walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Cruz throws a shot to the body.
Castle scores with a jab to the head.
Castle has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cruz finds it's way round the side to connect with Castle's head.
Castle moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nice uppercut lands for Cruz. That snapped Castle's head back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz looks to land a combination but Castle avoids it well.
Castle throws a series of punches but Cruz moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Castle. Those never looked like landing.

Cruz drops Castle with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Castle looks back up at him and smiles so Cruz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Castle is rocked!
Cruz throws a monster overhand right that drops Castle! Cruz follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
