The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber throws a body kick that misses.
Navras is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gruber lands with a shot to the body.
Navras stuffs the takedown.
Gruber throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Navras's waist but Navras gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gruber off to one side.

Navras pushes Gruber off and scrambles back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Let's hope that Navras has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hans Gruber will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
