Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demaj Jacare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Penn!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Demaj Jacare!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jacare.
Jacare throws a nice looking combination but Penn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jacare lands a jab to the nose.
Jacare throws a head kick that misses.
A punch lands to the side of Jacare 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Penn looks for a takedown but Jacare sprawls well.
Horrible takedown by Penn or perhaps it was just good defense by Jacare which made him look bad.
Penn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jacare as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jacare has managed to clinch.
Jacare lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Penn wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jacare scores with a knee to the head.
Penn goes for a takedown attempt but Jacare pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Penn is breathing heavily.
Jacare rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Penn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jacare connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Penn's hands.

Penn is rocked!
Jacare connects with a stiff jab that staggers Penn - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
