PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arturro Affi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran Foran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Affi comes to the cage accompanied by Men at work - Land of down under. Kieran Foran will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foran misses with a few strikes there.
Foran swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kieran Foran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foran looks to score with a jab to the body but Affi is just out of range.
No joy there for Foran, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Affi does no damage.
Affi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Affi lands a body shot.
Affi misses with a series of wild punches.
Foran misses with the combination.
Foran slips a straight right by Affi.
Foran tries to bum rush Affi with a series of wild strikes but Affi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Affi throws a left that rocks Foran and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Affi dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Foran regain composure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Affi stands up.
Foran throws a right and a left that both miss.
A combination from Foran does no damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Affi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Foran in his tracks.
Foran misses with a two punch combination.
Affi lands with a hook. Foran tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Foran is rocked!
Foran loads up on a big right hand but Affi slips the punch.
Foran is still on wobbly legs! Can Affi finish him?
Affi misses with a wild combination.
Foran lands a right hook to the body.
Foran seems to have recovered his senses.
Affi's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Affi duly obliges.
Affi feints with a jab and clips Foran right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Foran is sent crashing into the canvas and Affi leaps in for the kill! Foran tries to get to his feet but Affi is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Foran is in need of a savior and steps in!
