Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kasper Nymann Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Huge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nymann Jr's entrance music is Volbeat - A Warriors Call. A fine choice. Matt Huge has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nymann Jr gets a clinch.

Nymann Jr manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Huge is fighting to break Nymann Jr's control of his arms but Nymann Jr is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Huge throwing strikes but missing.

Huge drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nymann Jr manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Huge has Nymann Jr in his guard.
Huge is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Nymann Jr dives into side control.
Huge tries to bench press Nymann Jr off him but Nymann Jr keeps the position.

Huge bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Huge does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Huge wants to sweep here but Nymann Jr controlling him for the moment.

Nymann Jr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nymann Jr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Huge has momentary wrist control but Nymann Jr slips an elbow through the middle.
Huge is looking to stand up but Nymann Jr isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Huge is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Nymann Jr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Huge's guard.

Huge pushes Nymann Jr off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Huge throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Matt Huge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nymann Jr gets a takedown into half guard.
Huge moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Huge looks gassed!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nymann Jr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Huge works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Kasper Nymann Jr will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nymann Jr is keen to just control but Huge is a slippery customer.
Nymann Jr is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Huge is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Nymann Jr thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nymann Jr connects with a nice short shot to Huge's temple.

Huge pushes Nymann Jr off but Nymann Jr dives into side control.

Nymann Jr tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kasper Nymann Jr overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Huge tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Nymann Jr is keen to just control but Huge is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Nymann Jr is nestled in close to Huge, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nymann Jr lands a nice short elbow.
Huge wants to control but Nymann Jr passes into side.

Huge is looking to reverse the position.
Nymann Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Huge paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Huge has a takedown stuffed.
Huge fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nymann Jr defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Huge.

and Nymann Jr counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Huge!
Huge is bucking up trying to escape but Nymann Jr cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Nymann Jr with shots to the head and body - Huge looks very uncomfortable down there.
Huge takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Nymann Jr has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Huge's face.

Nymann Jr softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Huge is out cold! Nymann Jr jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
